Hello readers!!! I hope all is well with you. After reading this blog entry,"New Year's Resolutions Fail!" posted by Mike Jaquays at "Hot Scoops with Sprinkles on Top," Although I do not believe in making resolutions,I have decided to look back on the goals I've set. I want to see how well I am doing. My weight? Still high. My book? Almost there, but have time to publish to save face. Those were the "biggie" goals. So I made an executive decison to try one more year. What the hay? What would it hurt? My pride? A little because I didn't accomplish everything THIS year. So I am going to "keep on keeping on."

13th POST: Check out Morrisville Public Library!!
Hey readers!! How are you? Hopefully,you are in a cool place. Or you're trying to get in the Guiness Book Of World Records for the many ways you are "beating the heat." (Gee, that made me think of a LeBron James joke, but I will keep it to myself.)
Anyways, if you need to find a way to "beat the heat" and come to a cool place, check out the Morrisville Public Library. Now you might be asking why, right? And here it is.....
The Morrisville Public Library is a real cool place. Not only do they have great air conditioning, but they have expanded their building as well. Their Program Room is much bigger than it was before. The staff is also willing to help you anyway they can. They also have more than one way to get out.(No, the windows aren't one of the options.)
There is some small stuff that has to be done. I guarantee you, once the small stuff is taken care of, it'll look even better than it does now.
So if you are in the area, check out the Morrisville Public Library. Tell them Tall Tom sent you.

12th POST: The ABC's of Happiness
A--Accept
Accept others for who they are and for the choices they've made even if you have difficulty understanding their beliefs, motives, or actions.

Break away from everything that stands in the way of what you hope to accomplish with your life.

Create a family of friends whom you can share your hopes, dreams, sorrows, and happiness with.

Well, blog readers, Mother's Day is soon..tomorrow to be exact. So in honor of Mother's Day, here are a few poems about mothers.

How many buttons are missing today?
Nobody knows but Mother.
How many playthings are strewn in her way?

How many thimbles and spools has she missed?
How many burns on each fat little fist?

NINTH POST: The National Anthem at 2011 Super Bowl
Hello everyone. I'm not sure where you stand with the singing of the Star Spangled Banner at the 2011 Super Bowl between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Packers. I wouldn't say it was the best rendition of our anthem. She has done better....Check this out (at the :50 mark).
Some may argue that Christina was the only one who has messed up the anthem. While I don't think she did a good job, I do not believe she "butchered" it. Don't believe me? Let me give you some examples of a real "hatchet job" of our National Anthem.
Take it away famous Olympic athlete Carl Lewis...
How about Roseanne's rendition? That wasn't anything to write home about...and some others in this montage. I would suggest you adjust your volume....
Let me end this blog on a good note. If you ever sing the National Anthem in front of A LOT of people, do it Whitney Houston's way...with music.
